About Buzzr TV

Buzzr is a digital broadcast television network in the United States operated by Fremantle North America, a division of the RTL Group’s Fremantle business. The network provides a home for Fremantle’s enormous collection of vintage game programs. Buzzr’s digital subchannel is accessible as a channel on streaming platforms Pluto TV, Stirr, IMDb, and Sling TV, and can be seen in 62 U.S. television areas. The network is also accessible on free-to-air C-band satellite through Galaxy 19 in the DVB-S2 format throughout the United States.

Fremantle originally utilized the Buzzr name in late 2014 for a YouTube channel established and produced by its digital production company Tiny Riot. Buzzr’s YouTube page includes vintage video as well as short-form versions of its game show assets (such as Family Feud and Password) using online superstars as competitors, aimed largely towards millennials.

On January 20, 2015, FremantleMedia (as it was then known) announced the launch of Buzzr, a digital multicast network that will act as a brand extension, with Fox Television Stations as its founding station group. Buzzr has a collection of vintage game shows from the company’s content library. Buzzr started a live stream on their website in June 2018 that mimics the network broadcast.
